Scuola, il ministro Giannini replica a Poletti: “Ne La Buona Scuola previsti stage estivi”
All'indomani della dichiarazione del ministro Poletti, che ieri ha ipotizzato di accorciare le vacanze estive degli studenti sostenendo che tre mesi sono troppi e almeno uno dovrebbe servire a fare formazione, è arrivata la replica di Stefania Giannini, titolare del dicastero all'istruzione, che ha ricordato come il ddl su "la buona scuola" approderà in Parlamento nei prossimi giorni e preveda già "che attività di stage si possano fare anche nei periodi di sospensione dell'attività didattica, estate inclusa". "Le dichiarazioni del ministro Poletti – ha spiegato il Giannini – sono condivise nel governo e i temi che tocca sono stati oggetto di analisi anche nel lavoro sul Ddl Scuola. Il valore formativo del lavoro è centrale nell'impianto de La Buona Scuola, al punto che investiamo 100 milioni all'anno (quasi dieci volte l'investimento passato) per portare le ore di alternanza negli ultimi 3 anni a 400 nei tecnici e professionali e 200 nei licei". Poi chiosa : "Fare esperienza di lavoro durante la scuola è utile non solo per diminuire la dispersione e facilitare l'inserimento immediato nel mondo del lavoro, ma anche per orientare le scelte di chi andrà all'università".
Ma cosa aveva detto il ministro del Lavoro, Giuliano Poletti? Parlando degli studenti aveva proposto: "Un mese di vacanza va bene. Ma non c'è un obbligo di farne tre. Magari uno potrebbe essere passato a fare formazione". Poletti ha quindi fatto l'esempio dei suoi figli: "D'estate sono sempre andati al magazzino della frutta a spostare le casse. Sono venuti su normali, non sono speciali". Per il ministro, tuttavia, è assolutamente necessario che il lavoro rientri tra le attività formative per un giovane: "Anche noi genitori, la società, dobbiamo riconsiderare il tema del lavoro e le giovani generazioni. Un mese di vacanza va bene, un mese e mezzo, ma non c'è un obbligo di farne tre. Magari uno potrebbe essere passato a fare formazione. Non si distruggerebbe un ragazzino se invece di stare a spasso per le strade della città va a fare quattro ore di lavoro".
